On Sunday December 3, the full moon will appear a bit larger and brighter than usual when it rises in the early evening.
Typically the distance between moon and the earth is 226,000 to 252,000 miles.
This is the year’s last super moon and you wouldn’t want to mind watching and taking some pictures for yourself. According to the national geographic the moon will appear seven percent bigger and 16 percent brighter during this year’s supermoon.
Dont worry you can watch the supermoon without any eye protection, unlike the solar eclipse that which requires special viewing glasses.
Even NASA is in on the excitement with a recent twitter post
